Donations to Citability.org go to the League of Technical Voters, a 501c3, making them tax deductable. Please contact our Treasurer, , for more details.
The funds will be used to throw more codeathons, where volunteer programmers write and adapt free and open source tools to incorporate these standards.
We will also lobby proprietary software venders to adopt these standards. (This is what makes the petition so important!)
We currently use Google for donations, but hope to implement other options as well.
